Hard landscaping during April & May used 110 tonnes of hard core, chippings and sand as well as 300 square metres of weed blocker and 6 railway sleepers for the benches. The lawn was sown at the end of June. You can almost see the stripes in the lawn from the first cut! Waterlilies planted in the pond already attracted two mating pairs of Emperor Dragonflies, a new species only found in Ireland during the last couple of years.
